If you enjoy having a a beverage occasionally, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all cash, charge cards and cheques at home. Only take only the money you expect to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You might experience a win after a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. The two simply don’t mix.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little bit drastic, but preventative actions for dramatic actions is a requirement. If you play to profit, then don’t drink and gamble. If you like to toss away your money without a worry, then drink all the no charge booze your stomach can handle, but do not pack credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your befuddled brain loses all the cash!

Allow me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink and then hop on to the internet to gamble in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my condo, but since I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit near by, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.

How come? Although I do not consume alcohol a lot, when I drink alcohol, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both create an awful, and costly, cocktail.
