Illinois is home to river based casinos, and there are nine chief gambling halls in Illinois. Illinois casinos have been restricted by the government’s controls and are levied at the highest percentage in the nation. The restrictions also limit the amount of gambling permits that can be distributed to nine, and the state is now at the limit for gaming licenses. Argosy’s Empress Casino is based at twenty three hundred Empress Dr. in Joliet. There are 85 beds and seventeen penthouses available at the gambling hall boardinghouse. Three eatery’s available. Casino Queen is based in East Saint Louis at two hundred South Front Street. There are 150 beds and seven penthouses close-at-hand at the gambling hall. The casino coverstwenty-seven five hundred sq.ft. and offers several features. Besides playing, Casino Queen provides a two thousand, five hundred customer river boat, a 140 space recreational vehicle park and easy access to MetroLink light-train location.
